Youri Legrand, Esq. is the founder of Legrand Law P.L.L.C. He provides sophisticated, results-driven counsel tailored to help clients achieve their goals with precision and practicality.
His path to the law began at MIT, where he earned a dual Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management Science in 2003. He earned his J.D. at George Washington University Law School, focusing on business law, compliance, trusts and estates, and tax. He is admitted to the New York bar.
After law school he served as in-house counsel for an international firm, advising on risk and compliance. In 2012, he founded Legrand Law. The practice specializes in representing athletes and artists in connection with licensing agreements, corporate formation and governance, and real estate investment portfolio management. That work led naturally to high-net-worth families who needed structures that safeguard assets from potential risk.
Outside the office he is his son’s football coach and an avid kickball player. The same competitive passion shows up in the work: listen first, fight for the client, and do not settle for a plan with loose ends.
